Amazing!!!
Need to check out this museum exhibits, it's truly magnificent!!
yep, it seems from the outside like a 'small shop' but once inside - an entire Texas world is revealed.
Free museum in small town surprisingly big. Took us 45 mins to go through not reading everything. Goes over town's history and the XIT Ranch history as well as the dust bowl. Some really great displays.
Great museum with a lot of interesting exhibits
There were a lot of different interesting exhibits, with some interactive components as well. I learned a lot and the staff was very friendly. Would recommend !
This is an amazing museum for the price, FREE! It contains interesting displays & artifacts from rural, farm life, to cowboy life, lots of aimal & wildlife displays, interesting historical facts & pictures about the XIT Ranch & much more. If in the Dalhart TX area, well worth your time to visit!
Great information about the area. Very informative about the dust bowl in the area. Loved the various exhibits.
Interesting history of our state that needs more exposure. Did you know that the XIT ranch is how our state paid to build the capitol building? We left the museum eager to do more research on this bit of history.
Nick, did very good job talking about the history of the artifacts in the museum. They take a lot of pride in it!!
